Dave is the owner and manager of Nagy & Associates,
P.A. He splits his time between managing the company
and practicing accounting. As a manager, Dave spends
time improving quality controls and ensuring the company's
services provide value to clients. This is done by having
a disciplined attention to many different core business areas
such as employee development, marketing, financial planning,
and business operations. Dave’s practice areas are broad.
Most of his experience has been in the area of business
taxation, business consulting and coaching.
What sets Dave and the company apart from other CPA firms is
their ability to provide unique and valuable ideas to clients.
As the founder of the company and the son of an entrepreneur,
Dave has a unique perspective that most accountants can’t provide.
He can see things from the client’s point of view and is very good
at problem solving and uncovering out-of-the-box ideas. These
ideas can range from new tax strategies to identifying and
brokering strategic partnerships. Dave routinely provides free
reviews of past tax returns and almost always finds missing
deductions and/or methods to get clients bigger refunds.
Dave is on the board of the New Castle County Chamber of
Commerce and the board of The Technology Forum of Delaware.
He is also very active in the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants; the Delaware Society of CPAs’ Delaware Tax Committee.
